Technical Specifications: Parameters

 

1. 2D Point Light

The Point Light provides omnidirectional illumination from a central point, featuring four intuitive control groups.

  • 00_Light_Control (Core Settings)
    • Light_Color: Sets the emissive color of the light source.
    • Light_Intensity: Controls the overall brightness and power of the light.
    • Light_Radius: Defines the effective radius of the light's reach.
  • 01_Appearance (Visuals)
    • Hardness: Adjusts the density and sharpness of the light's core.
    • Light_Pow: Controls the falloff curve, determining how smoothly the light fades towards the edges.
    • Light_Alpha_Mul: A weight multiplier for fine-tuning the final opacity output.
  • 02_Animation (Dynamic Effects)
    • Blink_Speed: Sets the frequency of the light's flickering animation.
    • Blink_Mul: Adjusts the intensity range of the flickering effect.
  • 03_Advanced (Technical)
    • CenterPosX / Y: Allows for manual offset adjustment of the light's center coordinates.
    • Light_Prev_Max: Limits the maximum threshold for previews or rendering.

 

 

2. 2D Spot Light

The Spot Light provides directional illumination with specific angles, including advanced atmospheric effects like dust particles.

  • 01_Spot_Shape (Geometry)
    • Spot_Angle: Sets the angular spread of the cone-shaped light.
    • Spot_Divide: Determines the horizontal expansion rate, controlling the sharpness of the cone.
    • Spot_Rot: Provides full 360-degree control over the light's rotation.
    • Spot_Start_Offset: Adjusts the apex starting point to soften the light's origin.
  • 02_Spot_Appearance (Atmosphere)
    • Spot_Color / Alpha: Defines the color and final opacity of the spotlight.
    • Spot_Attenuation: Sets the rate at which the light fades over distance and environment.
    • Spot_Pow: Controls the internal density distribution within the light cone.
    • Spot_Post_Mul: A master multiplier applied to the final brightness after all calculations.
  • 03_Spot_Dust (Visual Detail)
    • Dust_Tex: Assigns the texture for dust/particles flowing within the light beam.
    • Dust_Rate: Controls the animation speed of the moving dust particles.
    • Dust_Tiling: Adjusts the scale and repetition of the dust texture.
